Kavi Sammelan at Bramcote Memorial Hall on Sunday 6th September

Kavi Sammelan at Bramcote Memorial Hall on Sunday 6th September

The Kavi Sammelan at Bramcote Memorial Hall on Sunday 6th September was a great success. There were 170 people in attendance, which considering the short notice is very good - many of the usual attendees could not make this year's Kavi Sammelan, so it was introduced to a largely new audience from Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire. The standard of the guest poets was of the highest callibre and we would like them to visit Nottingham again in the future.

We really appreciate Nottingham Asian Arts Council - whose support and contribution make the Kavi Sammelan possible.

With kind Regards

Jai Verma
